Tom Tee: I remember first hearing Henrik's spine-chillingly beautiful voice on the early Anubis Gate releases. Back then, he only sang leads on one or two selected tracks on the albums, as the band had another vocalist doing almost all the leads. What I distinctly remember is how captivating these few songs were to me. It seemed so surprising to hear another band member suddenly taking the lead, and Henrik's voice was so crystal clear and injected so much raw emotion into these tunes, that I always looked forward to whenever they would appear. Imagine my delight when Henrik eventually took over the lead vocal duties within Anubis Gate; I was floored! Denmark's premier Prog Metal band just got even better at that moment ;-)
