Tom Tee: Fabio was one of the singers on the debut album, and so I felt he simply had to be part of these follow-up records 😉 To anyone who's been into Metal for at least the past 25 years, Fabio needs no introduction. He is and has been a part of so many bands, so many albums, so many tours and projects and classic songs, that he's become embedded as an integral part of the genre as a whole... And aside from that, he's also one of the nicest people you could ever meet!
Fun (and true) story: several years ago I was on the illustrious '70.000 Tons Of Metal' cruise in the Caribbean. Before such a cruise starts, there's a safety drill, whereby all passengers and crew need to head outside to their assigned "evacuation zones". Now bear in mind that there's several thousand(!) people in total on such a ship, and you can imagine my surprise when I found myself standing *right* next to Fabio, who I had only just contacted for collaborating on the Entering Polaris debut record. Coincidence or Fate? The most important part is that working with Fabio is always a treat, so I'm proud to once again present him on the upcoming records! 🙂
